Now that we have significant bee activity at our Gilbert Site1a2h, we will be monitoring the progress as they fill the habitat tubes.
We have updated the Home page, to include an overall status for the two sites in Gilbert and Payson/Flowing Springs.
The count for 14 June and 16 June is 229 and238 respectively:

There appears to be a leveling off of the rate. This count record validates our anecdotal observations of decreasing bee activity around the habitat.
A note on our counting methodology. We photograph the habitats (every two days) and do the count from the photograph. Sometimes the lighting is not 'good' and it is difficult to discern the actual filled tubes. But this methodology is adequate for day to day trending. And the final count will be accurate since it will be be based on the actual count when we harvest the cocoons.
