On the road to the patch at Flowing Springs, that entails driving over the East Verde River once, and through it another two times.

The plants found their new home at the patch yesterday afternoon, and all looks good.
You might think that some of these photos look a bit weird, and they are.
We put plastic water jugs around the plants to hold heat in overnight, and with a threat of cold temps last night (in the 30s) we put plastic over the plants for the night.
Today then, we put plastic laundry baskets over the plants for day-time shade – temps in the 80s for the next week – and the plastic jugs for night-time heat retention & release.
Does it look weird? Yep, but it will do for the next week as the nighttime temps heat up, and the plants start to put out their leaves and out-grow these small shades.
