Gene had reported that the remaining quart of leaf cutter bee cocoons had started to emerge on Thursday June 10th. He placed them in the refrigerator at 55-57F.

The next day we prepared an iced shipping container for the 2-3 hour trip to Payson.

As you can see in the video, at least one bee emerged as we were sitting on Joanne's porch discussing the best location. Joanne reported that they had planted a patch of alfalfa. This is great since leaf cutter bees love alfalfa. We decided to place the habitat and cocoons in the gazebo.
