We Added One More Habitat to Site1a1 and Some Updates

We added one more habitat, consisting of 80 cocoons and a 4 by 8 habitat from Gene's project last year. The habitat is set at 64 inches height on a southeast facing direction.

And some general updates.

We have observed some bees entering and leaving the tubes, here's one example:

We removed the wood cover from Site1a2c since the bees were flying around, not entering and we now have it covered with chicken wire:

And finally, we have lots of birds and hummingbirds at Site1a2 since we have been attracting and feeding them for several years. You can't see the color in the hummingbird until it flies away displaying a burst of red iridescence:
