The buckwheat seeds we planted and germinated have emerged! We have plants and leaves. These buckwheat plants were from planted seeds.
We had previously established a new site1a2i with leaf cutter bee cocoons and a habitat on the 17th of September. Based on a recommendation from Wayne Mennie of JWMleafcutters, we also planted buckwheat seeds nearby. Also we put some of the seeds in water to see if they would germinate/sprout. They did, and we planted those also.
Today we noticed that both sets had sprouted. In addition, we got two more packages of buckwheat seeds from different sources. We have placed those in water to sprout.
